‘SCARY’ 17th!

“I’m so 17teen!”

Okay, so how sld I start this off. Before that, I’VE TO SHOUT OUT LOUD THAT WR IS OVER!

Back to the point. These 2 days have been full of surprises, thoughts, loneliness, fun, extremely touched by friends, full of cakes and feasts, PW, stjohn, well wishes, quarrels and just so many stuff.

So 18oct began with 3 stjohn events lined up for me. Many well wishes poured in through SMSes, and I really appreciate them. At least for the very simple reason that i’ve been rmbed, and for the reason that many care for me. Had mtgs, and thankyou LKL, for that MAC breakfast which comes with BLOSSOM. Nothing much abt sj, BUT, THANKYOU ZONEMATES! Thankyou for celebrating my birthday with TWO birthday cakes, one last wk and another ytd. THANKYOU KPR! For gng all the way to vivo to get the cake, and getting lost after tat (your usual sotong-ness). THANKYOU SIR LOO! For making my day, and the VERY RED wallet! (I must hv been lucky today. Wore my usual RED specs, with REDstripped shirt, carrying a RED plastic bag, and a RED wallet -.-) Then nth eventful afterwards, and I’m still thinking:

“:( They really didn’t plan anything for me!”

LOL. But they hided the surprise SO WELL, tat when my day is ending, THEY POPPED OUT OUTSIDE MY HOUSE!

I must mention that they’ve only been to my hse ONCE, cos they always complain that its TOO FAR, and based on the lazyness of our gang, ofcos we wouldn’t want to travel. Totally shocked me, when I was using the comp ytd, and there was this very loud birthday song begin sang outside my hse. Initially, I was still thinking its my neighbour opp, and it turned out to be MQ, SHUMIN, BK, VAL & MH! SERIOUSLY, I’M TOUCHED. TOTALLY. Was feeling down before tat when I was having prata with Dad, cos of some school stuff, and other issues which I’ll not state down here, but they totally lifted my spirits. Thankyou, thankyou, and still, thankyou. (:

Thankyou TANSHUMIN, for the post. For being such a close and wonderful friend with me. For being so thoughtful. For being yourself, and I always feel comfortable with you around. For being very pro-AMWAY. For being many things that I’m really thankful for.

Thankyou VALERIECHUAN. For being so Valerie-like over MSN (i.e. ALAF) when midnight stikes, for that post with the birthday song. For making my day night before I turn in. THANKYOU. And yes! FOR THE CARD! (With a very big pimpled face, lol.)

Thankyou BK, MH, JUNYI & AUDREY! (YES, SHUMIN SHOWED ME THE VIDEO!) and many many many more for wishing me on my 17th Birthday. I truly appreciate them.

 

OFCOS, THANKYOU TO GODMUM, GODPA, and my 2 SIS. For all the things you have done for me since I’m one month old. Thankyou godmum, for raising me up for the past 13yrs, for taking care of me so well. Being so bu ci lao ku. For teaching me to be a better person. I’m sorry that my childishness in the past had made you angry, made you worry for me. You’ve and you will always be my ma.

 

YUM CHA-ed this morning. Got the HK feel (LOL!). Nice morning with Mum.

Thankyou Er Yi, for rmbing me after so many yrs.

Thankyou Pa. For the cake. For every other thing else. For your love, although sometimes I find you overbearing. But I know its all for my good.

 

But. Growing up, getting on each birthday makes me think of family. I dunno how sld I react at times, but I still know both of you love me. So do my relatives. Growing up means being more sensible, being able to be more decisive, being more exposed to this world, and being able to be filial to them. I do not blame them. But I also understand that things won’t change, though ofcos, I’ll secretly wish that things will turn for the better.
